On Saturday May 12 a group of young mothers will attend the first annual "Mom's Night Out" dinner at Christ Church. The event is hosted by the Mom's with Tots group and is an effort to allow young mothers a chance to have some adult conversations with people who are experiencing similar challenges. It promises to be an enjoyable evening with the possibility of other events being planned during the meal. For more information please contact the Church office at 705-692-3344.

Pancake Supper
Submitted by Glen Miller on February 23, 2012The curious custom of filling up on fattening foods the day before Lent begins was once again practiced at Christ Church in Lively. Approximately 60 people gathered and enjoyed a feast of pancakes, sausages, scrambled eggs, toast and a beverage all in support of the Primate's World Relief and Development Fund. The talented members of the Men's group were the hosts and no one left hungry. In all $300 was raised to support the important work of PWRDF. A thank you goes out to those who participated and those who helped with the preparation and clean-up.
