On Sunday October 16, 2011 Ms. Beverly van der Jagt will begin her ministry as the Pastoral Assistant of Christ Church, Lively and St. John the Divine, Copper Cliff.  Beverly will be preaching the sermon at the worship service in Lively (10 am).  During the following week she will be attending a variety of events at which people can get to know her a little more.  On Wednesday morning at 10 am she will be at St. John's for the mid-week communion service and at 7 pm she will be at Christ Church for the other mid-week communion service.  We give thanks to God for this new beginning and pray for God's Holy Spirit to continue to guide and strengthen Beverly as she takes these first steps.
